Selena Gomez, clad in comfortable sweatpants, has an unwavering devotion to Taylor Swift and embraces her various eras. Recently, Selena and her younger sister Gracie attended Taylor Swift’s concert in Arlington, Texas. They both wore outfits inspired by Swift’s Folklore and Speak Now albums, respectively.

While filming Only Murders in the Building, Selena Gomez wore Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour sweatpants. It’s presumed that she wore them before the actual filming began. It’s doubtful that Selena’s character in the show, Mabel Mora, is also a fan of Taylor Swift’s music.

Selena Gomez, the founder of Rare Beauty, expressed her thoughts on the Eras concert experience on Instagram. She thanked Taylor Swift, her best friend, for allowing her and her sister to immerse themselves in the magical and extraordinary world she has created. Selena also reaffirmed her love and support for Taylor, hinting at a track from her Fearless album, “Forever & Always.”

Selena Gomez’s outfit for the concert was a faithful representation of Taylor Swift’s “Cardigan” music video look. She added a touch more eyeliner and embraced the pinned-up ringlets, vintage dress, and, of course, the cardigan. Unlike Taylor, who did her own hair and makeup for the video due to Covid restrictions, Selena had professional assistance.

As part of the promotional campaign for Folklore, Swift sent cardigans to numerous celebrity friends before making them available for purchase online. Among the recipients were Selena Gomez, Halsey, Jonathan Van Ness, Cara Delevingne, Kaia Gerber, Abigail, Spencer Pratt, Kesha, Jennifer Hudson, Kelsea Ballerini, Suki Waterhouse, Hayley Kiyoko, Olivia Rodrigo, the Haim sisters, and more. However, none of them, to the best of our knowledge, have worn Eras sweatpants to work like Gomez. This is why Selena Gomez is deemed deserving of the title “Top Swiftie.”
